Balloonabies app for iPhone and iPad

Narrated by Andy Richter and Sarah Thyre, Balloonabies: Wandering a Way Home, is a storybook app with floating animations. It is a drifting adventure on which children join Happy, the birthday balloon, as she encounters talking bubbles, a bumblebee hot air balloon, a globe balloon that mimics earth, and many others. Like the Balloonabies characters themselves, Wandering a Way Home’s themes bounce around from friendship, asking for help, interconnection, to gratitude, letting go, and emotional communication. Inspired by school leaders and children psychologists, the author’s intention is to enable a proactive experience for young readers, so that with each reading, children may hone in on an idea or theme that is relevant to them on any given day.
